Children's Ministries

People were bringing little children to Jesus to have him touch them, but the disciples rebuked them.  When Jesus saw this, he was indignant.  He said to them, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.  I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it."  (Mark 10:14-15  NIV)

Children's Ministries

Infant and Toddler Nursery

An Infant Nursery and a Toddler Nursery are available for children up to 3 years old during Sunday School and Morning Worship. Competent child care is provided to allow parents to participate in Sunday School and Worship.

Sunday School

Children's Sunday School is offered each Lord's Day September through May, from 9:15 to 10:15AM. Bible stories and lessons are presented to help young people understand who God is, what He means in their lives, and to help them form a Christian world and life view.

Children's Worship

Children's Worship is offered for children 4 years old through 2nd grade during the Sunday Morning Worship Service

Vacation Bible School (VBS)

Vacation Bible School is offered for one week each Summer, for the youth of our Church and Community. Through Bible lessons, music, and crafts, young people are exposed to the Good News of Salvation by Grace through Faith in Jesus.

Secret Shepherd

Secret Shepherd pairs adults with young people in 5th through 8th grade. The adult "secret shepherd" agrees to pray for the student daily and to exchange notes on a regular basis. Through the exchange of anonymous correspondence and gifts at Christmas, relationships are built with adult believers. The identity of the secret shepherd is revealed at a year-end dinner.
